Clean Air is one of our greatest natural resources. The Air we breathe in Homes and Buildings contributes to our personal health.

Did you realize that the cause of Half of ALL respiratory illness in America has been attributed to the poor quality of indoor air in our homes and buildings.

Clean Air Legislation

The U. S. Congress passed the first Clean Air legislation in 1955, which recognized air pollution as a problem of national proportion. The Clean Air Act of 1963, which was revised in 1970 and 1990, subsequently addressed the issues of air-quality standards, motor vehicle emissions and alternative fuels, toxic air pollutants, acid rain, and stratospheric ozone depletion.

Ozone Theory

Ozone is a highly reactive form of oxygen which is finding many purifying uses today, as bleach for waxes, oils, and textiles, and as a deodorizing agent, for instance. Because it is a powerful germicide, it is also used to sterilize air and drinking water.

Ozone Therapy

Since ozone is antibacterial, antiviral, and antifungal, over 7000 doctors in Germany use the Discosan method to treat various diseases. In Italy, Dr. Cesare Verga has treated over 6000 patients with ozone for herniated disks with a 95% success rate.

Ozone Applications

Ozone has long been internationally recognized as the most powerful oxidant next to hydroxyl. Both the EPA and the FDA acknowledge ozone's ability to oxidize 99.9992% of all waterborne pathogens. Although 16 countries now allow the use of ozone as a therapeutic technique, it is only being slowly introduced into US medical treatments.

The History of Medicinal Ozone

Both ozone and negative ions are naturally-occurring, active molecules that sanitize, deodorize, and revitalize the air by combining with pollutants. A rising phenomenon known as sick building syndrome has been attributed to the unnatural absence of ozone and ions in closed buildings.

The History of the Clean Air Act

Our air in the atmosphere is something we have taken for granted in the past, but, in the last forty years or so, scientists, elected officials, and the general public have begun to realize the effects of pollutants on the air we breathe.

Health Enhancer

Ozone is an energized molecule that not only protects us from ultra-violet rays, but also attacks contaminants in the air, for example, in smog. It has been used in medicine since 1857 to fight pathogenic germs, and even AIDS and cancer.

Hydrogen Peroxide

Experimental bio-oxidative therapies use small amounts of diluted ozone and hydrogen peroxide, two active agents, to supplement the natural oxidation process that breaks down toxins in the body into carbon dioxide and water.

Our Mission:
Clean Air Association
is dedicated to protecting the right to breathe clean air in homes & buildings. Working through public education, community advocacy, private industry, and government oversight to ensure enforcement of environmental, mold, and home-building laws.
